Access to Information Guide
13.05.2024.
At its 44th session held on 4 April 2024, the Council of Ministers of Bosnia and Herzegovina adopted the Access to Information Guide, which Bosnia and Herzegovina's institutions are required to publish on their websites, together with the supporting documents.
The Guide was developed to assist applicants in exercising their right of access to information in accordance with the provisions of the Law on Freedom of Access to Information at the Institutional Level of Bosnia and Herzegovina (BiH Official Gazette No. 61/23).
It allows users to learn more about how to access information kept by the Bosnia and Herzegovina institutions. The goal is to fully advise interested parties and ensure unhindered access to information of the BiH institutions, but also to harmonize legal practices and enable all interested parties to exercise the right to free access to information under equal conditions.
The Access to Information Guide and the attached forms including the Request for Access to Information, the Request for Document Reuse, and the Request for Amendments or Corrections to Information – are available in the attachment on the right.
